Delete my data
Pingoo keeps very little about you: encrypted copies of the SMS synced between your two phones, the random ids that route them, and the display name of each linked phone. There is no account. Here is how to remove all of it.
1. Unpair (removes everything on our side)
On either phone open Linked and tap Unpair. This deletes the link between the two phones and every message stored for it. The encryption keys on both phones are destroyed at the same time.
2. Uninstall (removes everything on that phone)
Uninstalling Pingoo removes all local data on that phone: keys, settings and the messages shown in the app. If you uninstall without unpairing first, unpair from the other phone to clear the stored copies, or ask us below.
3. Ask us
If a phone was lost, reset or uninstalled without unpairing, email pingoo.pakistan@gmail.com with the display name of your phones as shown on the Linked screen (for example "Galaxy J5" and "iPhone") and roughly when you paired them. We delete every link and every stored message that matches within 7 days and confirm by email. We cannot read the messages themselves at any point; deletion removes the encrypted copies.
What is deleted, and what is not
- Deleted: the link record, the encrypted messages stored for it, the push notification token, the shared view settings and phone display names.
- Nothing else exists. Pingoo collects no name, email, phone number, location, analytics or crash reports, so there is nothing further to remove.
